Weekly arts and crafts club for people with mental health problems. Meets in Hadleigh every Wednesday afternoon from 2pm to 4pm. For £3.50 a week you can join a 2 hour arts & crafts club. Express your creativity in a caring environment. All materials and refreshments are provided - there’s even an annual exhibition. The first session is free.

Your local library will have information and might have groups that you can attend, e.g. Hadleigh library offers a knit and natter session on Fridays 12.30-2.30pm, just turn up, bring your craft, 20p and an empty cup for a cup of tea or coffee.


Digital Art courses with Metal in Chalkwell Park, Southend. The project will explore how digital arts in an outdoor setting can improve mental health and well-being.  The project is FREE and open to individuals or groups. They can offer a one-off experience or a series of sessions introducing and promoting making art, telling stories, photography and/or music created in response to the art experienced in NetPark.  Sessions are typically on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday’s – mornings 10am – 12noon / afternoons 1pm – 3pm.
